Habitat For Humanity

IBEW Local 229 Class of 2015 was out on Saturday, February 21, 2015 volunteering at a local Habitat For Humanity project in York.

The apprentices, their instructor, and some union staff were on hand to help get the building ready for the electrical inspection.  The tasks they completed included building an electrical service, finishing electrical rough-in, terminating electrical panels, installing temporary lights, and hanging drywall.  Even as the snow was piling up, everyone was having a good time helping out the community.  We are happy to be able to support a great cause like Habitat for Humanity and look forward to helping out in the future.

Class of 2015:  Chris LaCroix, Jared Barley, Eric Plank, Brad Claar, Steve Schrum, Tyler Crone, Matt Mejo, Zach Roth, Andy Jamison.
Instructor: Lee Berkheimer
